Terms of Service

/ The agreement that guides our collaboration
Welcome to our Terms of Service.

This page explains how we work, what to expect when collaborating with us, and how we handle your projects and materials.

It’s meant to give you a clear picture of the process and your rights, without the legal jargon. For the strict legal details, a separate contract is signed after accepting a project proposal.Welcome to our Terms of Service.

This page explains how we work, what to expect when collaborating with us, and how we handle your projects and materials. It’s meant to give you a clear picture of the process and your rights, without any legalese.

1. Starting a Project

The process begins with a project proposal. The proposal outlines the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and fees. Once you review and accept the proposal, we ask for the initial payment and sign a contract. This contract confirms the agreement and protects both sides. After this, the project is added to our schedule and work begins.

2. Deliverables & Ownership

Once a project is completed and the full payment is received, the final deliverables become yours. That includes the live website, the exported design files, or the finished media we’ve agreed upon in the proposal. While ownership transfers to you, SilvWeb retains the right to showcase the project in our portfolio, submit it to competitions, or feature it in creative platforms.

It’s important to note that raw working files, such as source design files, unedited photo sets, or development drafts, remain with SilvWeb unless we specifically agree otherwise. For photography and video projects, you will receive full commercial usage rights, meaning you can use the content freely for your brand.

3. Timelines

At the beginning of each project, we agree on an approximate schedule that sets the pace and keeps the process moving. Smaller services like graphics or media can be completed within days, while full-scale websites or brand projects usually take several weeks to a few months. Timelines are meant to guide the work, not restrict it, and if the vision develops or feedback takes longer, we adjust together so the project stays on track without rushing the creative process.Projects can evolve, and that’s normal. If new ideas, features, or adjustments are requested after kickoff, we’ll discuss how they fit into the project. Scope updates may affect timelines or costs, and these are agreed together before moving forward.

4. Payment

For web projects, we usually request a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance divided into milestone payments linked to key stages of the work. For one-off services such as photoshoots, editing, or graphics, we ask for either full payment or a substantial portion before production starts. This approach secures your place in our schedule, allows us to allocate resources, and ensures the project can move forward without interruptions. Full details of payment schedules are always included in your project contract.

5. Changes & Scope

Projects can evolve, and that’s normal. If new ideas, features, or adjustments are requested after kickoff, we’ll discuss how they fit into the project. Scope updates may affect timelines or costs, and these are agreed together before moving forward. Until changes are confirmed in writing, the original scope remains in place.

6. Client Responsibilities

Smooth collaboration depends on active engagement. To keep the project moving, we ask clients to provide feedback, approvals, and any necessary assets in a timely manner. Scheduled check-ins or meetings are agreed at the start of the project, and while we understand that clients cannot always attend, keeping us informed and staying responsive is essential. When it comes to sensitive access information, such as logins or credentials, clients are expected to share these responsibly and securely. Delays in communication or missing materials may extend the overall timeline and affect delivery.

7. Post-launch Support

We provide post-launch support for web projects to ensure everything runs as intended. This typically covers monitoring performance, resolving early issues, and helping with agreed updates. Support is defined at the start of the project and may be extended if you need additional maintenance or improvements later. For design and media services, support is available as a separate arrangement.

8. Third-Party Rights

We build and share work based on the materials our clients provide, and we trust that they hold the rights to use them. On the rare chance that something slips through and you spot material on our site or portfolio that you believe infringes your rights, let us know at . We’ll review the situation quickly and, if needed, remove or adjust the content.

9. Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy and treat any information you share with care. Data is only used to manage and complete your project, and we never sell or misuse it. We may use trusted third-party tools such as cloud storage or design platforms to manage work, but only the minimum necessary information is shared. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any material or data provided to us can legally be shared and used within the project.
